About the Event
Tablet or Smartphone Play - Juniors
Even if you're a whiz with your smartphone or tablet, kids have a lot they can teach you about the latest applications. We will play together and have the young ones show us a few things. Children get so much satisfaction and self-confidence teaching others a new skill. And learning new things is a great way to keep your mind sharp at any age.
Puzzles and Games - Seniors
Nothing is better for memory and cognitive development for the young and old than working on a puzzle or playing a board game. We will introduce our participants to the classic board or card games played as kids. Games such as Bocce, bowls, giant Jenga, skittles, drafts, quoits! are great activities to enjoy outdoors.
Baking and Cooking - Seniors and Juniors
Who doesn't enjoy the smell of fresh baked scones? And children love being in the kitchen. Why not share the secret to making those scones extra delicious? It's a great way to teach measurements and math and even the littlest ones love to get their hands in the mixture. You'll be making not only scones, but also great memories together.
Arts and Crafts - Seniors and Juniors
Arts and crafts can bring out the kid in all of us. There is no better way to enjoy an indoor activity together than creating something you'll both love. And it will provide a keepsake to remind you of your special day.
